Knights of the Old Republic – Ulic Qel-Droma

Tales of the Jedi: Knights of the Old Republic is a two part Trade Paper Back. The first story is “Ulic Qel-Droma and the Beast Wars of Onderon”. That’s the one I’m talking about in this post.

The first thing that comes to mind with this story is how often they mention Freedon Nadd. Obviously, they must be setting the stage for the Tales of the Jedi story about him (one that I’ll be reading soon, called The Freedon Nadd Uprising). Anyway, this was a good story from the Oderon System about a Ulic Qel-Droma, a Jedi that is training under Master Arca. It’s Ulic’s chance to prove himself when he and his brother Cay and Tott Doneeta travel to Onderon to be watchmen for the Onderon System.

The story about how the flying beasts of a nearby moon, Dxun, traveled to Onderon and then how the civilation of the beast lords came about was definitely cool and interesting. This was another fun book and I’m looking forward to the next story in this book: “The Saga of Nomi Sunrider”.
